We are working on the next phase of Early Childhood Connector and we would love to hear if your organization and community are interested in participating in our upcoming pilots!  

After we rapidly launched Early Childhood Connector in March 2020 to connect early childhood system builders during the pandemic, we revisited our strategy and approach through an equity lens and discovered that we could reach even more people by adjusting the technology that drives Early Childhood Connector. We are now designing and building Early Childhood Connector “Beta” this spring to test the new approach with a few select community partners from summer 2021 through spring 2022. 

Early Childhood Connector is seeking interest from community systems builders who are interested in receiving grant funds to pilot new features and capabilities of the platform to help achieve more equitable outcomes for young children, from before birth to age eight, their families, and the early childhood workforce in their community.   

Early Childhood Connector anticipates issuing grants to four selected city, county, community, or Tribal Nation non-profit or public entities gradually over the next two calendar years. Selected grantees would each receive funding for either a 6-month or 1 year commitment. Grantees would be responsible for sub-granting funds to at least five additional partner organizations/networks in their community to support their participation on the platform.  This opportunity is looking to support early childhood systems builders who have already demonstrated some commitment to enhancing their community’s early childhood system but who are looking for more support from peer leaders in other communities, along with targeted technical assistance. 

To be considered for round one of grant funding, estimated to begin in July 2021, interested system builders are asked to do the following by Thursday, April 15, 2021:
